Last year I was over at my friend’s house. She created the best playroom organization! I instantly fell in love and knew it would fit our space. I went to Ikea, Container Store, and Amazon. I was impressed with the quality of the Ikea organizer. We secured it to the wall so my littles wouldn’t get hurt. Then, I made piles of cars, trains, Duplos, Imaginext, etc. Looking at the size of the piles helped me to know which size bins to buy.
This is by far my favorite room in our house. I love it because my 3-year-old (at the time) helped me organize and knew exactly where to put everything. Right now, more than half of the canvas bins are empty. My twins are in the, “I love dumping bins phase” and there isn’t enough alcohol in the world to solve that problem. So I left those empty. Hopefully in a couple months we will fill those back up!
Here is a peek into our toy storage.
