It is so much fun watching my oldest get into dramatic play! My son loves when I get out our Pet Vet bin. We added some items to spice it up even more! We added a leash for “Scruffy,” a blanket to cover the cold pets, our play table chairs for our waiting room, and tiny plastic cups as “medicine.” Please do NOT use real medicine bottles. I take this time to talk about our safety with medicine. That is why I love dramatic play. You can “teach” so much during play! Here are some items that are sure to have you laughing.
This first set is similar to the one we have. Thank goodness these pets are not real. My poor son diagnoses them with some strange things. You could always gather stuffed animals and add a kid’s doctor kit. The cage is one of my oldest child’s favorite parts.
Play Phone- We added in our Leap Frog play phone and… Viola! A whole new set of skills you can teach your child.
Paging Doctor Pet Vet- This adorable costume is sure to add to the fun!
Doc McStuffins- My Pediatrician talked about how Doc McStuffins has made her job easier. Kids watch her and learn about the different tools doctors use.
